Back by popular demand: Trail Steward & Board Member Joe Sandulli has generously offered to lead another equestrian trail ride! Join us on Labor Day as we explore the trails at Riverbend and Pipestave Hill. Highlights of the ride will include the new "horse friendly" bridge at Riverbend, a stroll along the River Road trail with views of the Merrimac River & a stop at Mill Pond for a dip in the horse & dog wading area. It will take about an hour to cover the trails on each side of the road, so the whole ride should be a little over 2 hours. We'll stop for a mid-ride break back near the trailers, so if anyone has to drop out early they can. Trail Steward Ellen Alden will provide refreshments. Both Riverbend and Pipestave have much larger trail networks than most people realize, so come explore with us!!
