Please join us at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 21st for our Spring Annual Meeting at the Gould Barn in Topsfield!

We will have a brief business meeting to review and vote on revisions to the organizational by-laws, vote to welcome new board member Scott Bumpus, owner of Seaside Cycle in Manchester, as well as to review the budget for 2015. The proposed updated by-laws and a brief biography of Scott are available to download or view online.

The business meeting will be followed by our guest speaker, Jim MacDougall. Jim is one of Massachusetts’ most well-known naturalists and has recently retired from his position as Special Projects Director for Ipswich River Watershed Association. Jim has also served as Essex County Greenbelt’s Land Manager and has participated in numerous local groups including the Essex County Ornithological Club, Topsfield Conservation Commission, Trout Unlimited and Topsfield Rail Trail Committee. Jim will share with us his insight on the history of and rare species found in Willowdale State Forest.
