West Newbury Riding & Driving Club Adventure Trail Day

WEST NEWBURY ADVENTURE TRAIL--ECTA FUNDRAISER AND FUN RAISER!

Bring your best equine buddy and a friend or two to Pipestave Hill, West Newbury on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Hosted by the West Newbury Riding and Driving Club, we expect around 30 teams of 2-5 horses and riders who will explore the rich West Newbury trail system at 3 minute intervals, including the trails of Mill Pond, the Town Forest, Pipestave Hill, Archelaus Hill and Riverbend Conservation area. Ride for 1 1/2-2 hours, and finish up in the "torture ring" where puzzles and problems will tax the skills and abilities of both horse and rider. This untimed, unjudged ride raises funds to help build and maintain West Newbury's beautiful trails, bridges and boardwalks. Riders are encouraged to pre-register, and to arrive on time for the event.  If you do not have a riding buddy, teams can be created so you don't have to ride alone.
