Gary Gilbert is an architect, builder and furniture maker who began studying mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest in the '80's. He is lecturer and walk leader with the Boston Mycological Club and member of the North American Mycological Association (NAMA). He originated the idea for "MycoCards.com" mushroom identification flashcards (www.mycocards.com) and is also an amateur chef with recipes soon to be featured in the "Fantastic Fungi" cookbook being issued in 2021 (https://fantasticfungi.com/cookbook). He regularly teaches classes on fungi identification and leads walks in the Cape Ann area of Massachusetts.

Christine Gagnon has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and has taught in various settings and currently created her own mushroom baskets. Mushrooms were always an interest but the obsession began just over 3 years ago. She admins and moderates many mushrooms groups on Facebook, leads beginner walks in the NH area, and will be identifying mushrooms at Fantastic Forage Mushroom Festival in Laconia. She was recently featured in a mushroom story on NHPR, and NPR’s Here and Now.
