We need your help!
The ECTA has been developing an inventory of all of the public and private trails in its six towns. Working with landowners and trail users, we have been able to map, using GPS, all of the public and private trails in Hamilton, Ipswich, Topsfield, Wenham and West Newbury. The only town left to map is Essex.
While some mapping has been done here, we are not finished. We are looking for people with a good understanding of the landowners and the trail system in Essex to help us complete the process. Please note that the private trail information is never published. We use it only to help us maintain the trails and understand the trail network.
We are holding a meeting on Monday, March 19th at 6:00 pm at the ECTA office in Ipswich. At this meeting we will explain the project in more detail, record your input, and assign roles to those who would like to become further involved. Please email us if you can attend. Our meeting location may change based on the response.
