Join ECTA on Saturday, October 15th, for our POKER BIKE RIDE!

Riders will be provided a map with seven locations in Willowdale State Forest and a punch card. Each registered rider must visit five to seven of the stops,  and punch the card at each location. Take your time and enjoy a morning ride or see how quickly you can get to all seven. Most direct route is 7.5 miles. Start as early as 9:00 am but be finished by 12:00 noon!  We will all meet up at noon to deal our hands. The best five card hand wins!

Registration Fees: $20 ECTA member, $30 non-member
Registration available day of event at ECTA table in parking lot 8:30 am.

All 2022 events will offer a $10 discount for ECTA Members.

You must check in to get your punch card before you begin!

MAP OPTIONS: We recommend using the Avenza Maps app. Download Avenza Maps for free onto your smart phone and download the free ECTA Poker Bike Ride map prior to event. Instructions below. This will allow you to use the gps enabled map without internet service and see your location on the map! Otherwise you can print out a copy of the map below or save it to your phone.
AVENZA MAP INSTRUCTIONS:From the app store on your phone choose Avenza Maps (it’s free). Open the app. At the bottom of the screen tap on the cart icon for the map store. Search keyword ECTA. Select the ECTA Poker Bike Ride map, tap “free,” tap “download,” then tap “open map.” At the Willowdale parking lot, find yourself on the map (blue dot) and navigate to the Spade icons.

EVENT INSTRUCTIONS: Follow your map to the seven locations, in any order, in Willowdale State Forest. Each stop is marked by a spade,, on the map. Find the Poker Bike Ride sign and hole punch attached, in plain sight, to a tree at each location. Use the hole punch to punch your card. Each registered rider must visit five to seven of the stops, and punch the card at each location. Take your time and enjoy a morning ride or see how quickly you can get to all seven. MOST DIRECT ROUTE IS 7.5 MILES. When you finish return to the ECTA table in the Linebrook Road parking area to receive your poker hand. Five stops get you five cards, seven stops get you seven. Start as early as 9:00 am but be finished by 12:00 noon. At noon we will reveal all the hands. The best five card hand wins!
