WNRDC Post-Turkey Ride/Walk

Instead of waiting in lines and dealing with angry shoppers in windowless box stores this Friday, why not get outside and enjoy this beautiful weather!!  Please join our friends at West Newbury Riding & Driving Club for a Post-Turkey Ride/Walk:

Not a “Black Friday Shopper”?  How about a guided trail ride instead?  This week Deb Hamilton will lead us through West Newbury’s Riverbend Conservation Area, on horseback or on foot.

We’ll start at the Pipestave parking lot at 10 AM and then explore the Riverbend trails across Main Street.  We’ll ride trails that follow the Indian River, criss-cross the back of the hill, and may cross the Indian River into Riverbend West.  By then all the windfalls from storms should be picked up and the trails blown clear.  We’ll even circle the corn field on a beautiful, wide swath that can be ridden at a canter.

Walkers can follow the equines and hike down to “heaven” and back out, which should take under an hour.
