Due to a number of unforeseen scheduling conflicts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2013 Pan-Ipswich Challenge.  We look forward to seeing you next year!

Join us for the 4th Annual ECTA Pan-Ipswich Challenge on Saturday October 26th. Our 20 mile walk/run from the west end of Ipswich (Hood Pond) to the coast (Steep Hill Beach) will highlight some of the best trails and open lands on the North Shore.  We will cross through trails in Willowdale State Forest, Bradley Palmer State Park, Greenbelt's Pingree Reservation, The Trustees' Appleton Farms, New England Biolabs, Maplecroft Trail and then head down Argilla Road to the Trustees' Steep Hill Beach.

Click here to view a map of the route.

Please join us, or if you can't make the walk, please make a pledge to support the walk.  Walkers will leave at 8am.  Runners will leave at 10:30 am.  For those who are unable to make the full 20 miles, we will have a 10-mile group starting at Appleton Farms Grass Rides at 11:15 am.  All registrants will receive details about parking as we get closer to the event.

Participants, friends and family are welcome to attend the grand finale celebration at Steep Hill Beach where we will enjoy hot soups, artisan breads and some fine Ipswich Ale!  We will have an awards presentation acknowledging our top fundraisers.

All participants in the Pan-Ipswich Challenge are asked to raise a minimum of $100 on behalf of ECTA.  Click here to download a pledge sheet.

Donations on behalf of a walker can be made via this event page or through our donations page.

Many thanks to all who supported the walk over the last three years - the event has grown exponentially and we are looking forward to our best year yet!
