Volunteer Trail Work Day

Join us for a volunteer trail work day at the Ipswich River Watershed Association's Riverbend campus in Ipswich.  IRWA recently acquired an additional 5 acres of property, expanding their Riverbend campus to 20 acres!  The expanded property includes the remnants of a formal garden that was once considered one of the finest landscape gardens in New England. 

We will clear a new loop trail that will provide access to the rockery and lily pond.

Hand tools such as loppers, hand saws, rakes and grub hoes will all be useful.  We will have some tools available to volunteers.  Please bring work gloves and dress for the weather! 

Hot lunch will be provided.
