Virtual Race 2: Beaver Pond Loop, Willowdale segment

Parking: Anywhere along Topsfield Road by footbridge into Bradley Palmer and entry into Willowdale.
Course:
Enter on short path across from path to bridge, up and over hill, turn left and bend right following main trail, for first mile plus stay on main path, avoiding left branch offs until marker 48, then turn left past marker #33 and 11 to Beaver Pond lake, follow rough path along pond until path peters out then bushwhack straight up the hill about 10 yards to the mtn. bike trail turn right. Back track to 36, go right on grassy trail to 33 then right past 46 to 45 go left, pass 49 to 30. Go left to 44 and follow Gravelly Brook road back to parking lot on Topsfield Road.
Race Overview:
The Essex County Trails Association (ECTA) is pleased to announce its first ever virtual training trail running competition using the free 
app! The competition is free and is open to any runner, although only ECTA members will be eligible for a prize. There will be prizes for each mens and womens age group winners. Age groups are: under 25, 25-50, over 50.
The virtual competition will begin May 1, 2016 and last until August 31, 2016. Prizes will be awarded at the ECTA Run for the Trails race on September 17, 2016. Runners can compete as often as they choose, with their times measured by any GPS tracking device and uploaded to Strava and winners will be determined by their segment ranking as reported by Strava.
