Join us for a special day on the North Shore’s best mixed-terrain riding, all in support of Essex County Trail Association. Starting and finishing at Munroe Velo in Topsfield. This ride explores a carefully curated mix of scenic gravel roads, forest trails, and quiet backroads that showcase the incredible trail network ECTA helps maintain.
Two route options will be offered:
• Long Route (~45 miles) - A challenging and rewarding adventure through rolling farmland, hidden doubletrack, and classic North Shore gravel. Expect a mix of fast dirt roads, punchy climbs, and some rugged sections that will test your handling skills.
• Short Route (~25 miles) - A more relaxed but equally beautiful loop highlighting some of the area’s most accessible ECTA-maintained trails and quiet gravel connectors.
We recommend a gravel or mountain bike with at least 38mm tires for the best experience. Routes won't be marked but will be available via GPS. Please download the "Ride with GPS" app before the event, a link to the route will be emailed to registrants the day before.
Both routes will feature exclusive access to certain ECTA-managed properties not typically open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience our trail systems in a new way.
Stick around after your ride to enjoy a pizza lunch and a beverage from Beverly’s Coastal Mass Brewing beer van!
